In Dilma Rousseff's first party political broadcast, which airs this Tuesday (19), the former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will ask people to vote "without fear" in the PT candidate.
He will also say that her second term will be "better" than the first.
Rousseff and Lula will host the broadcast and the former President will use his time to tell that nobody regretted having given him four more years in 2006; likewise they will not be sorry with the re-election of the President.
The party political broadcast starts today. Rousseff will nearly triple Aécio Neves' (PSDB) TV time, with a total of 11 minutes and 24 seconds. The debut broadcast with Lula will be displayed from 1pm and won't feature attacks on Neves.
It will also show the former President's statement, recorded in studio, a tribute to Eduardo Campos, who died in a plane crash last Wednesday (13) and was a candidate for President.
According to Folha, Lula will say, at the end of the broadcast, he had a "father and son" relationship with the former Governor of Pernambuco.
He will refer to Campos' slogan that turned to be his last public words before the tragedy: that no one should "give up on Brazil".
Aécio Neves will dedicate a quarter of his first broadcast to honour Campos. The text, written in his own hand, will remember the moment he met Campos, "when I accompanied my grandfather, Tancredo Neves, and he, Miguel Arraes".
Neves will say the two have always had a relationship of "friendship and respect" and both had common ideas for Brazil, despite being in different parties.
The PSDB broadcast will also feature Neves presentation. The motto is the slogan "welcome to change".
The PSB party political broadcast will focus on a tribute to Campos. According to members of the campaign, the idea is to use images that were recorded over the past few months that show a confident and smiley Campos. Scenes from the funeral ceremonies will not be used.
Marina Silva, who will replace Campos as the presidential candidate, will be highlighted, but she will not be treated as a candidate yet.
Before the death of her running mate, the former Senator would present Campos on TV.
