29 Gaviōes da Fiel fans (from Corinthians) were arrested on Sunday night (3) following the Palmeiras and Corinthians match, after they attacked three individuals near the Clínicas metro station on Dr. Arnaldo Avenue, in the capital's west zone.

The victims were taken to the Clínicas hospital. A press communication from the Military Police (PM) reported that two of them were treated and discharged, but the third remains in critical condition.

According to the PM, the Gaviōes fans were waiting at the Pacaembu stadium exit in a large truck carrying musical instruments and team banners. The PM believes it was an ambush.

The detainees were taken to Police Station 91 in the capital's central region. This is just one of numerous accounts that have plagued the 14th round of the Paulista Championship.

Earlier, a confrontation took place between members of Mancha Alvi Verde from Palmeiras and Gãvioes da Fiel from Corinthians in front of the São Miguel Paulista train station in the city's east zone. One person was reported dead.

According to the PM Lieutenant Colonel, Luiz Gonzaga, the victim had no role in the fight. The bullet hit the man in the heart and he died on site.
