Non-Authorized Websites Offer Tickets for World Cup Final

Ten days ahead of the final, Folha found tickets for the match that will define the next world champion in two of the three websites accessed.
Iguana Tickets sold all categories, with prices ranging from R$15 thousand (US$ 6,740) to R$97 thousand (US$43,500).
Viagogo prices range from R$14 thousand (US$ 6,290) to R$36 thousand (US$16,160).
Yesterday (3), tickets were not available on StubHub, but it was possible be on a waiting list.
On Fifa website, tickets for the decisive match were sold out. New tickets will only be sold if any is returned. The prices range from R$165 (US$74) to R$1,980 (US$888).
On Reclame Aqui, a consumer website, there are 240 complaints against Iguana Tickets and 64 against Viagogo.
They are illegal in the country, so these trade sites are hosted in other countries where Brazilians have little legal access.
According to the Fan Statute, reselling tickets at more than face value is illegal and punishable by up to two years in prison. The World Cup General Law establishes Fifa and Match Services are the only companies legally allowed to sell tickets.
Fifa always emphasizes the only way to ensure the ticket is original is by purchasing it directly from them.
