Folha's podcast "O Presidente da Semana" (in English, President of The Week) has been downloaded over a million times. Until Monday (24th), the series episodes have been played over 1.13 million times in all the platforms where they are available.

The weekly series started last April, and with the help of historians and journalists, it profiles each one of all Brazilian presidents. The last episode will feature the winner of the upcoming October elections. Folha's podcast is inspired on Presidential, a podcast produced by The Washington Post during the 2016 US elections.

New episodes are posted on Mondays, and 24 of the 29 planned episodes are already available. They start at the First Republic and continue through the Vargas Period, the Kubitschek Years, the military dictatorship and the democracy reinstatement in the 1980s.

The latest episode features Itamar Franco (1992-1994), Fernando Collor's vice president who was sworn into office after Collor's impeachment in 1992.

Presidente da Semana is produced, written and hosted by Rodrigo Vizeu, deputy editor of Politics, with sound editing and directing by Victor Parolin, assistant editor of visuals. Ramon Mineiro edited some episodes.

The podcast is available at Folha's website (folha.com/presidentedasemana) as well as platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Pocket Casts, Castbox, and Deezer.
