In the video, released on Friday, Bolsonaro worries about being removed from office. Despite the pressure on Mello, the president will likely reach out to the Supreme Court President, Dias Toffoli, to calm the air. Toffoli was hospitalized yesterday with signs of Covid-19 that manifested after minor surgery to drain an abscess. He's fine, according to the Supreme Court.
The president once again participated in an anti-democratic protest in Brasília on Sunday. The demonstration called for the closure of the Supreme and Congress. The president flew over in a helicopter and, without a mask, embraced protesters. The opposition is considering asking for a CPI to investigate the circumstances of the ministerial meeting.
