Before abruptly interrupting a brief interview, the president ordered a reporter and members of his own team to shut up, took off his mask, complained about CNN Brasil, and attacked TV Globo.

The president became angry after being reminded that the Government of São Paulo had fined him for not wearing a protective mask against Covid during a motorcycle ride on the 12th.

After citing the use of a helmet as a justification in that case, he was asked why he arrived at the event in Guaratinguetá without a mask and replied: "I arrive as I want, wherever I want, I take care of my life. If you don't want to wear a mask, don't wear a mask."
