Demonstrations against Bolsonaro Have Low Turnout Outside Leftists

Presence of center and right was shy; in São Paulo, Lula does not participate and Ciro is booed

Demonstrations for the impeachment of President Jair Bolsonaro, in São Paulo and several cities across the country, were led by left-wing movements and parties and had timid right-wing supporters, despite efforts to ensure that the acts had ideological scope.

Both presidential candidates at the center, from the so-called third way, as well as former president Lula, who leads polls of intention to vote for Planalto, were absent. The PT member has so far not attended any protest in the campaign against Bolsonaro.

The demonstration on Avenida Paulista brought together 8,000 people, according to the Government of São Paulo, just above the 6,000 calculated in the demonstration on the 12th.

Ciro Gomes, the only pre-candidate for the presidency at the Paulista demonstratio was booed.
