President's allies link manifesto to the left-wing and want to double their bet for September 7 (Independence Day)

President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) once again called the manifesto for democracy read this Thursday (11) a "little letter" and resumed attacks on former President Lula (PT) and on the other signatories of the text.
The representative said that the letter will not serve as a "good-guy passport" and criticized the artists who signed the manifesto.

The strategy of the president's surroundings to face the adhesions to the pro-democracy texts is to double the bet on the Bolsonarista acts scheduled for the 7th of September.
The expectation is to get a high number of supporters on the streets on Independence Day and, in this way, show strength on the part of the president.

In the live session broadcasted on social media, the Chief Executive also said that what matters is respect for the Constitution, and not signing a letter for democracy.

He criticized the letter to the Brazilian people published by Lula in 2002 when the worker's party member was running for president and published a text with the objective of reducing rejection among the business community.
