The Guardianship Council told Folha that it had been summoned by the José Roberto Pacheco state school, in Taboão da Serra, in the surrounding area of São Paulo, on February 28 of this year. That same day, a female employee of the unit filed a police report reporting the young man's suspicious behavior on social media. The female civil servant told the police that the student had posted videos carrying firearms and simulating violent attacks and that he forwarded messages and photos of weapons to students through WhatsApp, which caused fear in parents.

The Department of Public Security stated that, after collecting the employee's statement, the police forwarded the case to the Children and Adolescent Court.
