Amid the debate on fuel readjustments and Petrobras' freedom to set its prices, the state company announced on Monday (8) new readjustments for gasoline, diesel oil and cooking gas sold at its refineries.
Gasoline will rise, on average, 8.1% (or R$0.17), going to R$2.25 per liter. Diesel will increase by 5.1% (R$0.11), going to R$2.24 per liter. LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) rises by 5.05% (R$1.81 per cylinder).
All figures correspond to national average prices - Petrobras has different prices per refinery. They will take effect from this Tuesday (9). They do not consider taxes or other costs of the distribution and resale chain.
It will be the third readjustment of gasoline and the second for diesel in 2021. At the pumps, the two products accumulated an increase of 5.5% and 3.5%, respectively, in the year. Last week, gasoline cost, on average, R$4.769 per liter, while diesel was R$ 3762 per liter.
