Tarcisio contracted the coronavirus from his 86-year-old wife, Glória Menezes. They had been together since 1962 and had completed the Covid-19 vaccination in April. Since then, the couple has been isolated on the family farm, in Porto Feliz, in the interior of São Paulo.

If there was a face at the end of the 20th century that best represented the role of the heartthrob in the country, it was this one from São Paulo, who marked his passage on Brazilian TV playing virile, intelligent and often rich men.
