Folha's reporting showed that primary care teams in several cities and states state that underreporting to the Ministry of Health of suspected cases has been gigantic. They also say that, without a specific ordinance from the ministry, doctors have been guided by local technical notes with different orientations.

São Paulo remains the state most affected by the new coronavirus. The state has registered 67 deaths in the last 24 hours and has already added 371 deaths and 5,682 cases. Following, Rio de Janeiro appears, with 89 deaths and 1,688 cases.

Following a bulletin from the Ministry of Health released on Saturday (4), transmission in the country is in its initial phase, but the high incidence of cases in four states (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará and Amazonas) and the Federal District already indicates a transition to an uncontrolled acceleration phase in these locations.
