São Paulo is the state that always occupies the first place in the country's number of deaths. The state recorded 341 deaths in the last 24 hours and reached 16,475 deaths by Covid-19. Then, Rio de Janeiro had 183 deaths, which brings the total number to 10,881.

Brazil has a rate of about 30.2 deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants. The United States, which has the highest absolute number of deaths, and the United Kingdom, both ahead of Brazil in the pandemic (that is, they started to suffer from the problem before), have 40.2 and 66.9 deaths for every 100 thousand inhabitants, respectively.

In Argentina, where the pandemic landed nine days later than in Brazil and followed a much stricter quarantine, the rate is 3.6 deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants.
