In a week, from last Monday (15) to this Sunday (21), 15,788 people died from Covid-19 in Brazil. It is the worst week since the beginning of the pandemic, just over a year ago, and the third in a row of records.

In the last 24 hours, the state health secretariats accounted for 1,259 deaths, and the seven-day rolling average of deaths from the disease reached 2,255, the 23rd consecutive record.

The country has accumulated 294,115 victims of Covid since the beginning of the pandemic.

A total of 15,966,084 doses of vaccine have already been applied (11,805,991 of the first dose and 4,160,093 of the second dose). This means that only 7.34% of Brazilians over the age of 18 took the first dose and only 2.5%, the second.
