Moving average of deaths reached 1,705 and broke a record for the 13th consecutive day

Brazil recorded another tragic day with more than 2,000 deaths from Covid-19. There were 2,207 deaths this Thursday (11). The moving average of deaths also remains at extremely high levels and with successive records for 13 days.

The moving average of deaths reached 1,705 per day. The previous record, of Wednesday, was 1,645 deaths.

Thus, the country completes 50 days with a moving average of deaths above 1,000.

In addition to the high numbers of deaths, there are also high rates of contamination. This Thursday, there were 78,297 cases. As a result, the total number of deaths reached 273,124. The number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic is 11,284,269.
