After more than a year of pandemic and amid criticism for the delay in adopting actions, the Ministry of Health will launch on Wednesday (12) an awareness campaign on preventive measures against Covid, such as wearing masks and supporting vaccination.

The strategy comes when the government has been questioned, within Covid's CPI, for the lack of investment in recent months in a communication plan to encourage preventive actions against the coronavirus.

Recently, Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga, the fourth to lead the ministry amid a pandemic, increased his defense in speeches on the use of masks and distance measures.

President Jair Bolsonaro (no party), however, continues to oppose these measures frequently. On Sunday (9), he went out again without a mask and promoted agglomerations.
