In front of an audience of executives and employees of the pharmaceutical farming industry, the five-time world champion Luiz Felipe Scolari, 69, asks: "What was your 7-1?".

He chooses two other people from the audience and asks, "What about yours? What was your worst defeat? " The hammering suffered by the Brazilian team in the 2014 World Cup Semifinal, is remembered by the coach.

The 7-1 trauma serves as a hook to talk about overcoming adversity. Right after his question, Scolari says people should not dwell on a negative situation; they need to rise, move on.

To support that, he mentions that three weeks after the most crushing defeat in the history of the Brazilian team and after he resigned, he was announced as Gremio's coach. People responded positively to the news. Almost 10,000 people were cheering, "the champion is back." Scolari had coached Gremio before, and as their coach he had won Copa Libertadores, Recopa Sudamericana, the Brazilian Championship, the Brazilian Cup, and three State championships.

Scolari delivered two presentations in Brazil with the '7-1' theme since November 2017, when he left the Chinese team Guangzhou Evergrande after two years and seven titles won. The events are prepared by his staff and are aimed at companies - the amount charged has not been disclosed – and the sale of tickets is forbidden.

Between 2008 and 2012, Scolari gave several talks focused on motivation, one of the main characteristics of his work. However, he stopped after he became the Brazilian team's coach again for World Cup in Brazil.
