Corinthians, the current Brazilian champion, won the Copa Libertadores Femenina title this Sunday (21) by beating Independiente Santa Fé (COL), 2-0, in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The Corinthians will still have the chance to win an unprecedented triple crown in the decision of the São Paulo Championship in the coming weeks. The trophy in front of the Colombians also made the Parque São Jorge club the biggest winner of the continental tournament, alongside São José-SP, each with three cups. The teams from São Paulo are responsible for making Brazil the greatest power in the women's version of the main competition on the continent, with 10 titles in 13 editions.
Also champions in 2017 and 2019, Corinthians had a perfect campaign in the current edition. The team achieved 100% success in six games. In all, 24 goals scored and only two conceded.
