FROM SÃO PAULO

Following a Portuguese Attorney General's request, the Public Federal Ministry (MPF) forwarded information about Brazilian coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.

He is suspected of failing to declare over US$ 9.6 million in income taxes.

Besides Brazil, Portuguese authorities informed they asked for British, Dutch and American cooperation.

Felipão is being investigated since 2012 when he worked as a coach in Portugal. The country's Attorney General suspects he did not declare the payments received with the use of his image from 2003 to 2008.

Undeclared payments would have been made by Nike, by the Portuguese Federation and by two banks.

Felipão denied any tax irregularities in Portugal.
