After Showing His Middle Finger to Protesters, Brazil's Health Minister Is Diagnosed with Covid in NY

Queiroga is second infected in the Brazilian delegation to the UN Assembly

Brazil's Health Minister, Marcelo Queiroga, was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Tuesday (21) during a trip to New York to accompany the UN General Assembly.

It was the second confirmed contamination in the delegation accompanying President Jair Bolsonaro (no party) in the country.

Queiroga did not board with the delegation that has already returned to Brazil this Tuesday. He was supposed to accompany the presidential entourage, but he stayed in isolation in New York.

The minister was staying at the same hotel as Bolsonaro. He was at various events with the president, such as the dinner Monday night that ended in early confusion. At the time, he threw the middle finger at activists protesting against the government.
