"Aquarius" debuted last Thursday (the 1st) and is among the favorites |
On the 12th of September, a commission made up of nine members will be responsible for selecting one film. "Aquarius" by Kleber Mendonça Filho, among the favorites, is itself embroiled in controversy surrounding a member of the committee, Marcos Petrucelli, who has already used social networks to belittle the director.
"Aquarius" debuted last Thursday (the 1st) to a total audience of more than 54 thousand people - the second highest number for a national film this year, trailing only "The Ten Commandments".
