The basis of Folha's editorial guidelines is its quest for critical, nonpartisan and pluralistic journalism.
Such characteristics, which have guided Folha Group professionals in their conduct, were laid out in a series of editorial guidelines projects, the first of which was elaborated in 1981.
Since then, seven texts have been elaborated that seek to translate into practical terms the principles that constitute the Folha Project as a whole.
