Taking Daniel Alves to the World Cup Is Absurd

Calling someone who isn't even currently playing shows disrespect to those who are putting in the effort

We already know which are the players who will defend Brazil in the World Cup. I thought it was a good call-up, especially concerning the youth of the forward players.

The annoyance of the vast majority of Brazilians is concerning the apparent lack of criteria for calling up Daniel Alves. It's absurd, it's a big disrespect for the full-back players who have trained, played games, won titles, and strived in the hope of being awarded the justice of going to the World Cup.

Daniel Alves is 39 years old and, since he went to São Paulo, he hasn't played anywhere. In Pumas (Mexico), it was total decadence. Even so, Tite called him up to the World championship.

In addition, Tite did not call Gabriel Barbosa, from Flamengo, who is a player with a great personality and used to scoring decisive goals, which leads to titles.

With 26 names on the list, no one would leave out a top scorer like Gabriel. It was a great injustice. Without explanation.
