Tambaba, in Southern Paraíba, is the most famous nude beach in Brazil and it's set out to become an international example of naturism, a movement that preaches a healthy lifestyle and a closer contact to nature.

The part of the beach dedicated to fully clothed tourists will be reincorporated into the nude beach area, as part of new state law.The nude beach will be half a mile long, according to Rose Barbosa, 61, president of the Naturist Society of Tambaba.

Non-nudists will be able to visit Tambaba, but boarded fences will prevent them from watching the nude beach will close the area.

Tambaba's rules also forbid men unaccompanied of females to enter the beach, but there have been past accounts of men harassing women at Tambaba.

The changes will allow for more security measures, according to the naturist society. Most visitors are families and groups of friends.

The plans include a new reception area, where desk clerks will receive tourists and explain the concept of naturism and its rules. There are also plans for kiosks, a nude bed and breakfast, and a food court.
