Journalist Vera Magalhães, a columnist for the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo and host of the TV show Roda Viva, became the target of insults by Bolsonaro supporters after revealing that President Jair Bolsonaro had published a video through Whatsapp in support of demonstrations scheduled for March 15.

Federal deputy Alê Silva (PSL-MG) tweeted in response to Vera: "And then, you too are crazy to give ... scoop".

Her response had a sexual innuendo, but the congresswoman denied this. "I spoke of a 'journalistic scoop'. Perhaps I was not happy to complete the sentence," she said.

Alê Silva offended the journalist using the same term used by Bolsonaro to insult Folha reporter Patrícia Campos Mello on the 18th.

The president's statement was a reference to the testimony of a former employee of a mass mailing agency by WhatsApp, given to CPMI of Fake News in Congress.

Sought by Folha, Vera says that the offenses will not harm her professional journalism work.
