Documents from the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic delivered to Covid's CPI show that people appointed as members of a “parallel ministry” of Health participated in at least 24 meetings to discuss government strategies to combat the pandemic.
According to CPI independent and opposition senators, the "parallel ministry" was an advisory group to President Jair Bolsonaro outside the structure of the Ministry of Health.
The material sent to Covid's CPI deals with information requested about all meetings that had as their subject the topic related to the Covid-19 pandemic - Bolsonaro was not in six of them, but all of them occurred in the Planalto Palace or in Alvorada (official residence of the Presidency).
