The Federal Police finished taking statements from Bolsonarists involved in the coup-mongering attacks against public buildings (the Federal Supreme Court, the National Congress, and the Palacio do Planalto) in Brasília, on Sunday (8).
Of the 1,843 people detained in the camping site at the Army Headquarters on Monday (9), 1,159 were sent to prison, and another 684, mostly women, children, and the elderly, were released by order of Justice Alexandre de Moraes.
According to the Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration of the Federal District, the men are being taken to the Provisional Detention Center 2, in the Papuda penitentiary complex, and the women to the Women's Penitentiary of the Federal District.
According to the Federal Police, the arrests are added to another 209 arrests made on Sunday by the Military Police and Civil Police of the Federal District.
