The data comes from an unprecedented collaboration between the news media Folha, O Estado de S. Paulo, Extra, O Globo, G1, and UOL to gather and disclose the numbers related to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. The information is collected directly from the state Health Departments.

According to data from the Ministry of Health this Wednesday (1st), in the last 24 hours, the country registered 45,482 new cases and 1,016 new deaths confirmed by Covid-19. The ministry points to a total of 60,610 deaths and 1,447,523 cases of the new coronavirus.
