The consortium between Folha, UOL, O Estado de S. Paulo, Extra, O Globo and G1, compiled the data with the total number of infected and victims compiled in a balance sheet released daily at 8 pm. The survey is done by collecting data from the health departments of the states.

In addition to the consortium's daily data, Folha started showing the so-called moving average. The statistical resource seeks to give a better view of the evolution of the disease, as it attenuates isolated numbers that deviate from the pattern. The moving average is calculated by adding the result of the last seven days, dividing by seven.

In the last week, Brazil recorded a moving average of 1,055 dead.
