Brazil Reaches 100 Million People with Full Vaccination against Covid

The country registered 201 new deaths and more than 8,000 cases due to the coronavirus

This Wednesday (13th), Brazil reached 100.499,968 people with a complete vaccination schedule against Covid. That is, those who received two doses of the vaccine or a single dose of Janssen's immunizing agent.

The figure represents 62% of the adult population or 47.11% of the total population of Brazil.

Soon, the first doses applied should hit the 150 million mark. This Wednesday, the country reached 149,950,990 people partially immunized.

At present, 95.13% of the population over 18 years of age has received at least one dose (in this case, the first application of a vaccine or a single dose immunizing agent) or 70.29% with partial immunization (only the first dose).

The country's data, collected by 8 pm, are the result of collaboration between Folha, UOL, O Estado de S. Paulo, Extra, O Globo and G1 to gather and disseminate the numbers related to the coronavirus pandemic.

​This Wednesday, Brazil registered 201 deaths by Covid and 8,494 cases. With that, the country reached 601,643 lives lost and 21,596,739 people infected by Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic.
