Brasília

The senate Covid inquiry came to an end with the approval, by seven votes in favor and four against, of the report by Senator Renan Calheiros.

The text attributes crimes to the federal government and calls for the accountability of various agents, especially President Jair Bolsonaro.

The final version presents 80 indictment suggestions, involving 78 people and two companies, Need Medicines and VTCLog.

The opinion points out that there is evidence that the government was silent and acted "in a non-technical and reckless manner" during the coronavirus crisis.
