The image crisis that ensued after Neymar became the butt of several jokes for trying to simulate fouls during the World Cup - not to mention the criticism he has faced after doing an advertising campaign with sponsor Gillette - has not been enough to get Neymar to budge when it comes to career management changes.

Neymar da Silva Santos, the soccer star's father, has always had the last word when it comes to the commercial choices surrounding his son's career and he will continue to play this role.

Other than his father, friends and advisers are also a part of his staff, such as former soccer star (and former partner) Ronaldo, and his buddy Marcus Buaiz.

NR Sports is the company in charge of managing Neymar's career. Its partners are Neymar's father and his mother, Nadine Gonçalves.

Even so, it is Neymar's father who always gets the final say regardless of the matter at hand.

Neymar is currently in China along with the rest of the PSG squad.

Neymar, 26, did not mind the criticism that he faced following the Gillette commercial he was in that was released last Sunday (the 29th) and that led to widespread repercussions on social networks.

The overall assessment has been that, regardless of the World Cup fiasco, the player is on the same level as Hollywood stars and other stars in the sports world, meaning that negative comments do not affect his career.

A recent Ibope poll revealed that negative impressions of the soccer star doubled on social networks during the World Cup. On the other hand, when it comes to his own channels, Neymar has over 200 million followers.

That is why his staff believes that he should only use social networks to issue statements.
