Brazilian Delegation Is Obliged to Wear a Mask and Follow Measures against Covid in Israel

Minister Ernesto Araújo was even alerted by the Israeli chancellery to put protection during an event

The Brazilian delegation led by Minister Ernesto Araújo (Foreign Affairs) in Israel was forced to adopt preventive measures against Covid-19 on this weekend's official agendas.

Unlike the images of the delegation on Brazilian soil, in which everyone was without masks, in Israel, the group had to use protection and adopt social distance measures.

Minister Ernesto Araújo was even alerted by the Israeli chancellery to put on a mask when he was asked to pose for a photo with the Israeli chancellor, Gabi Ashkenazi. He replied, "Oh, yes" and put it on.

One of the delegation members is deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PSL-SP), son of the President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro (without a party), who criticizes the effectiveness of the masks.

The delegation also had to socially distance by two chairs in the auditorium where the group's welcoming ceremony took place.

The use of masks is mandatory in Israel's public buildings, including at closed meetings and for photographs.
