The day after the municipal elections, President Jair Bolsonaro (without a party) again questioned the country's electoral system and raised doubts about the outcome of the polls.
The president said this on this Monday (16) when talking to a group of supporters in front of Palácio da Alvorada.
"We have to have a polling system that leaves no doubt. That's it. It has to be reliable and fast. Leave no room for guesswork. Now [we have] a system that I don't know in the world where it is used. Just that and more nothing, "he said.
"The Supreme Court said that the printed vote is unconstitutional, has a proposal for a constitutional amendment in the Chamber. If we do not have a reliable way to count the elections, the doubt will always remain," continued the president.
Bolsonaro also stated that the demand for the printed vote comes from the "people" and that it is necessary to serve the population.
