The disapproval of President Jair Bolsonaro's (no party) management of the Covid-19 pandemic has skyrocketed to the highest level since the health crisis began a year ago.

According to Datafolha, 54% of Brazilians see his performance as bad or very bad in the week in which the fourth Minister of Health took office. In the last survey, carried out on January 20 and 21, 48% disapproved of Bolsonaro's work in the pandemic.

In the current Datafolha survey, the percent of those who think his crisis management has been excellent or good has gone from 26% to 22%, while those who see it as regular has decreased from 25% to 24%.

The institute surveyed 2,023 people by phone on March 15 and 16. The margin of error is two points.

About 43% of those surveyed blame the president for the acute phase of the pandemic, which has already killed more than 280,000 in the country.
