The targets include his father, Emilio Odebrecht, and his brother-in-law, Mauricio Ferro, who previously served as chief legal officer and is married to Monica Odebrecht.

Ruy Lemos Sampaio, an executive who took over on Monday the post of CEO of the holding company, is also mentioned.

According to the messages to which Folha had access, Marcelo attempts to explain the recent bankruptcy situation of the company.

Without stating it directly, the businessman blames Emilio for errors that led to the company's judicial recovery, with debts totaling R$ 98.5 billion.

Many of the emails detail the 64-page draft that Marcelo wrote and sent to company leaders.

In one of them, he says he plans to share the document with prosecutors of the Car Wash task force.
