Brazil Beats Record of Covid-19 Cases and Records over 97 Thousand in 24 hours, in Addition to 2,639 Deaths

Country has faced data problems about the virus in recent days

Brazil continues to break records in the pandemic. This Thursday (25), the country registered 97,586 Covid-19 cases, the highest number registered. Also, 2,639 deaths from Covid have also been documented. The previous record of cases was 90,830 on March 17.

With the data recorded, the country reached 303,726 deaths and 12,324,765 cases. This week, however, there have been problems with Covid's data logging system. Goiás was one of the states that pointed out the problem.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health changed the notification system, which damaged records of deaths in some states and led to an artificial drop in data. After criticism, the ministry suspended the move.
