In addition to having more options for attack, coach Tite used the increase in the number of registrations to assemble one of the most experienced teams ever called up by Brazil to a World Cup.

Because of dry weather and possible heat, FIFA has authorized 26 players to be available for each team in Qatar. Of those chosen by the coach, 10 have already competed in the tournament in previous years.

Of the World Cups in this century, only the 2006 delegation had a greater number of experienced athletes: 12.

Tite has now called Alisson, Ederson, Danilo, Daniel Alves, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Casemiro, Fred, Neymar, and Gabriel Jesus who have already competed in the Championship.

With the exception of Daniel Alves (2010 and 2014), all were present in 2018. Thiago Silva (2010, 2014, and 2018) is going to his fourth World Cup. Neymar (2014 and 2018), to his third.

In the history of the only country to have participated in all the World Cups, only twice has Brazil registered more players with experience in the tournament.

In addition to the 12 in 2006, there is a record from 1962. Aymoré Moreira made the most of the world champion position at the time and took to Chile 14 names remaining from the 1958 campaign.
