A new medical bulletin released this Wednesday (21) by the Albert Einstein Hospital, in São Paulo, pointed out that the health condition of Pelé, 82, who has been hospitalized since November 29, has deteriorated. According to the text, the former player needs care related to kidney and heart dysfunction. "Admitted since November 29 for a reassessment of chemotherapy therapy for colon tumor and treatment of a respiratory infection, Edson Arantes do Nascimento presents a progression of the oncological disease and requires greater care related to renal and cardiac dysfunctions", says the bulletin, signed by the doctors Fábio Nasri, Rene Gansl and Miguel Cendoroglo Neto.
The communication, however, did not mention the condition of respiratory infection, which was the main focus of activity of the doctors until the last bulletin released, on the 12th. With the worsening of Pelé's condition, the daughters Kely and Flávia have announced that they will be spending Christmas with their father in his hospital room.
