President Jair Bolsonaro will visit this Thursday (27) São Gabriel da Cachoeira (AM), 2,719 km in a straight line from Brasília. On the official agenda, there is the inauguration of a wooden bridge 18 meters long and 6 meters wide, on a dirt road partially passable and little used.
The bridge over the Ya-Mirim stream, 85 km from the headquarters of São Gabriel, had already been inaugurated on March 2, in a ceremony attended by five generals, including the military commander of the Amazon, Estevam Cals Theophilo Gaspar de Oliveira. The Army carried out the work.
This will be the 22nd city to which Bolsonaro travels this year to participate in official ceremonies. As part of an electoral campaign, the president has participated in inaugurations since January, including other works already inaugurated, surveys and symbolic acts for the delivery of land titles.
