José Vinicius Santos, who works at a unit installed in a shopping mall in Aracaju (Sergipe), posted the incident on his Instagram account

"I want to report the inevitable here," he said in the video. "Because, if I leave the kiosk, I'll be given a warning. The second time, I'll be suspended, and the third time it's reason for firing," he said.

Burger King said it regretted what happened and said it did not tolerate disrespect toward workers.

"The people involved in the case have been removed while we check the information. We are providing support and keeping contact with the employee. We have in our culture the practice of respect for people in any environment and we will not fail to take the appropriate actions."
